General
During this 3-day training we will inform you completely about the latest strategies and techniques in the field of dynamic and static surveillance in both urban and woodland areas. Conducting a tactical surveillance is one of the most complex methods of information gathering. Partly due to the fact that today's society is becoming increasingly 'suspicious', a professional surveillance can only be performed by a specialist in that field.
During this training, theory and practice alternate in a pleasant way.
The training consists of three parts:
Module 1: Dynamic and static surveillance
During this module we will teach you everything about tracking a person by vehicle, on foot or by public transport. We will teach you everything about planning, preparing and using a static surveillance post.
Module 2: Preparing dynamic surveillance missions and ABC procedures
It is very important that you do not attract attention during a surveillance mission. We teach you the "do's and don'ts" during this observation. We will also practice how to follow our subject dynamically by using the ABC-procedure.
Module 3: Recording
During this module, our teachers will teach you how to capture activities or events on photo, video or in the form of an audio recording.
During the training you will use the text-book 'Surveillance Techniques', which has been developed and published by IACA in-house.

Excellent course!
Training: Surveillance techniques
Review: "It were three great days.
Learned a lot and again took some more experience home with me in my "backpack".
The theory:
The theory well presented. There was clear course material and the lessons and subject matter are interspersed with videos and practical examples. The experience of the teacher from the field provides a good basis for the objectives of this training. There was plenty of room to discuss your own input and to make preparations and assignments for the exam with your group.
Partly due to the enthusiasm of the teacher, she managed to captivate the small group of three people and motivate us. We all went home with the certificate.
Practice:
I have experienced the live performance of Surveillance Technique in practice as special. Applying what has been learned in the real world in a very relatively short time is equally strange. With good and trusted guidance you will get over it and you will quickly get into your role. The teacher has a good feel for what is going on in the student's mind and in which phase you are. This gave me a good feeling and we were able to gain practical experience in a safe environment. The final practical exam with an external actress was a great experience.
Facility services:
Again everything well arranged. Materials to support the lessons were available, the lunch more than adequate and getting a cup of coffee on time was quite nice.
IACA, thank you on behalf of an enthusiastic student."

A lot of knowledge!
Training: Surveillance techniques
Review: "I found it a valuable training in which I gained a lot of knowledge in a short time about the different surveillance techniques and tools to make a surveillance mission a success. It was nice to alternate between theory and practice with direct feedback so that improvement is possible quickly."
