General
Combining the right techniques
The purpose of an interrogation or interview is to obtain detailed (background) information or intelligence. We also call this method of gathering information 'Human Intelligence' (HUMINT). During this intensive training, various practical interrogation and interview techniques are taught and then practiced with an actor. These scientifically proven interrogation and interviewing techniques are then combined with statement analysis, the 'reading' of body language and micro-expressions.
In particular, the combination of the right interrogation technique, statement analysis and 'body language' provides a good basis for the effective hearing and interrogation of persons and the collection of (background) information.
For whom is this training developed?
This training has been developed for anyone who has to collect (background) information or intelligence professionally by means of (telephone/video) conversations, interrogations or interviews. For example, you can think of employees of governmental agencies, ccd analysts, fraud investigators and claim experts, but also emergency services or employees within security regions.
What is body language?
Body language is a form of non-verbal communication that, just like spoken or written text, can convey a lot of information, for example by means of signs, tone of voice and eye contact.
Because the student is taught how to 'read' the body language of the interlocutor, he or she is better able to discover, analyze and report inaccuracies (signs of deception) in a statement.
Depending on the interlocutor, the results of the preliminary investigation and the way in which the student interprets the correct body language, he or she will be able to extract information from the most 'silent', 'lying' or 'denying' interlocutors after the training on the basis of the learned conversation techniques.
This training is experienced by our students as very applicable and practical. All the more so because the theory is alternated during the lessons with the practical practice of the taught material. The learned methodology can therefore be applied in the daily practice of the student directly.
This combined learning path will be eligible for the STAP budget
